Ingredients: king prawns,the big one if u may flour,shifted...or just flour tempura in package an egg yolk ice water..i mean really ice water sweet thai chilli sauce
Directions: Its kinda boring with things that you often eat these days huh?! I went to Marjan couple of week ago with my baby and had full dishes of fresh salad until oily nasi goreng..but the companion also nice..prawn freakin' tempura! but actually it's not that authentic..cuz the dipping they use thai chilli sauce,anyway..still light titbits to eat.
Select fresh king prawns from your local market,peeled them & left the tail instead,make sure to carve the body to keep it straight while you soak them in hot oil,marinade salt & pepper. Dont over-season! .set aside in the fridge.
Mix up flour with the egg yolk and pour lil by lil ice water,use baloon whisk to prevent curdleness..stir until thick smoothly. Heat some oil in wok or fryer or whateva...stick in the prawns in the batter,but hold the tail and lift it up..fry in the oil while you hold the tail,once the edge bubbling..put in the rest.fry til goldy brown.
